I am thrilled to be collaborating with Mira Manek to celebrate her new book: Prajna, and am very to excited to invite you to join us for a unique Yoga Brunch Club on Saturday 19th October for a morning of yoga and a sumptuous 3-course brunch at the hidden away east London location: Benk +Bo.

Enjoy a relaxing yoga session led by yoga teacher Lily Silverton,  Lily's meditative and inclusive classes integrate techniques from Hatha, Yin, Yoga Therapy, Vinyasa, along with her own former dance training. Post yoga, we will enjoy a sumptuous 3 course vegetarian Indian banquet prepared by Mira Manek with recipes from her book, Prajna. Taking inspiration from the vibrant colours, tastes and sounds of the East we will be transforming Benk + Bo into a late Indian summer sanctuary.

This will be an all levels hatha flow class. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged, and for the more advanced yogis there will always be options to deepen any pose.

MIRA MANEK

Mira Manek combines her love of healthy eating and Indian flavours to create her own style of vibrant Indian-inspired food. Mira has written two books. Her first cookbook Saffron Soul, was published in 2017, a collection of modern and traditional vegetarian recipes rooted in her Gujarati heritage interspersed with family stories. Her second book Prajna, Ayurvedic Rituals for Happiness is out on 5thSeptember.

Last year, Mira launched Chai by Mira, cafe, chai lounge and event space at Triyoga Soho, inside Kingly Court, Carnaby. Her chai spice mix is used by various cafes and restaurants in London and Mira has also collaborated with restaurants like Holborn Dining Rooms on their menu. She holds supperclubs, workshops and retreats in London and globally.

LILY SILVERTON

Lily Silverton is a 400hr Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher with over 20 years of yoga and meditation experience. She strives to bring her personal experience of the transformative and healing effects of yoga to others, and encourages the experience of yoga to be one of holistic mindfulness both on and off the mat.

Lily’s Hatha/Vinyasa Flow classes adopt a theraputic, body positive approach that places function over aesthetics. She has an adaptive style that respects diversity, and her inclusive classes empower students to find their own flow and alignment, to return to the breath, and have fun!

As well as working as the Head of Yoga & Wellbeing for Raw Press, Lily teaches sessions and has designed programmes for many London charities including Crisis, Young Roots, Camden Volunteering Programme, Bridge Metal Health, and the Maha Devi Centre for Children with Special Needs. She is also a wellbeing writer and speaker, and contributes frequently to publications such as Refinery29, Vogue, Women’s Health, and DOSE, on health, body image, yoga, and wellness.
