Clem Balfour founder of Yoga Brunch Club together with Beth The Free Range Chef and Jess Wolff, invite you join them for a restorative and calming Sunday to wind down the end of November and prepare you for the build up to the festivities.

Enjoy a relaxing morning yoga restorative session led by Jess Wolff owner of Bristol’s most beautiful studio Wild Wolf’s, a storyteller by nature, Jess’s illustrative words will take you on a journey as you move through dreamy yin-style movements and poses. With her love of all things slow and restorative, and teaching with a wonderful infectious energy Jess will lead us through a mindful practice , helping to evoke stillness after a busy week and year, returning to the simplicity of breath and unravelling of the body.

After yoga we will seat down to a three course nourishing winter brunch prepared by Beth Al Rikabi, aka The Free Range Chef, based in the South-West Beth caters for yoga retreats, organising and catering supper clubs and weddings, alongside recipe testing for blogs and cook books. As Beth describes: ‘after working in kitchens across Bath, I set up Beth’s Bakes in 2008, creating all manner of quirky cakes. Having been vegetarian since I was 12, I soon realised my love of cooking and experimenting with vegetarian cuisine.’

The Yoga Brunch Club was founded by Clem Balfour over four years ago. The idea came from a combination of her great passions yoga and food, on a mission to make yoga more accessible the Yoga Brunch Club was launched. These run monthly in London and Bristol, with a few Yoga Supper Club's and retreats also added into the mix.

This will be an all levels yin/restorative class. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged, and for the more advanced yogis there will always be options to deepen any pose.

Ticket includes:

  • 75mins Yoga with Jess Wolff

  • 3-course brunch prepared by Beth Al Rikabi (aka The Free Range Chef)

BETH AL RIKABI: THE FREE RANGE CHEF

Beth, The Free Range Chef has a passion for organic ingredients and cooking sustainably is what drives her to keep experimenting with food. Catering for yoga retreats, supper clubs and weddings, alongside recipe testing for blogs and cook books.

As Beth describes: ‘after working in kitchens across Bath, I set up Beth’s Bakes in 2008, creating all manner of quirky cakes. Having been vegetarian since I was 12, I soon realised my love of cooking and experimenting with vegetarian cuisine.

Through travelling and working within different cultures I’ve learnt to adapt to unique situations and stay calm when problems arise. No kitchen is the same and there are various diets and ideas surrounding food which you need to focus on. I’ve learnt so much from meeting new people, trying different things and experimenting with all sorts of produce. I love to recreate these experiences in the food that I make back in the UK for my customers so that they can taste the sunshine, glimpse other cultures and feel inspired to eat more veg.’

JESS WOLFF

Different ways of moving have always been in my life; I love the energy of dynamic practices and training and have discovered ways to balance and complement this by going more ‘yin-side’. I come from an education background, which led me to teaching children yoga alongside my other practices such as Yin and Yang Yoga, restorative and pre and post-natal Yoga.

A storyteller by nature, Jess’s illustrative words will take you on a journey as you move through dreamy and romantic yin-style movements and poses. Her love of all things slow and restorative will allow you to drop into a deep rest. Lean into a sweet savasana, allowing yourself to unravel while Jess provides aromatherapy infused adjustments.
