Yoga Brunch Club founder Clem Balfour together with Mira Manek invite you to join us for a very special Saturday morning of yoga and delicious 3-course brunch at brand new stunning location: The Boathouse London, a boutique hotel and event space moored on the scenic waters of the Floating Pocket Park in West London.

Enjoy an energising morning yoga session led by Lululemon ambassador and yoga teacher Emily-Clare Hill,  Emily's classes are playful and intuitive, allowing time for exploration and contemplation and open to all levels. Post yoga guests will tuck into a 3-course nourishing Indian inspired feast, prepared by Mira Manek, who will be creating recipes inspired by her first cookbook Saffron Soul.  Taking inspiration from the vibrant colours, tastes and sounds of the East we will be transforming The Boathouse into an Indian summer sanctuary. Yoga will take place surrounded by the stunning gardens at the floating pocket park, with mandala yoga mats provided by Phantai Yoga, refreshments will be served up after the class before we board the boat to sit down to a 3-course brunch.

This will be an all levels vinyasa flow class. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged, and for the more advanced yogis there will always be options to deepen any pose.

MIRA MANEK

Mira Manek combines her love of healthy eating and Indian flavours to create her own style of vibrant Indian-inspired food. Her first cookbook Saffron Soul was published last year, a collection of modern and traditional vegetarian recipes rooted in her Gujarati heritage interspersed with family stories.

Having travelled extensively through India, Mira realised just how authentic her own home cooked Gujarati food was and came back to learn all those precious recipes. She champions eating well and eating wholesome home-cooked food that doesn’t compromise on flavour, using the spice box creatively and not just confining it to curries and daals.

EMILY-CLARE HILL

Emily is an advanced Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher. She has a background in, and passion for anatomy, which allows her the intelligence of strong creative sequencing that, both balances and serves the body.

Emily’s ability to offer a fun dynamic stretchy practice with fluid mindful technique, a lot of love and a little banter stands her aside from the crowd. Her knowledge of anatomy allows her to weave together a creative fun sequence that will leave you feeling inspired, fearless and ready. Classes are themed around an inspirational topic to offer an intention for practice…supported by the breath and always encouraging Emily installs a mindful, conscious practice of being in the moment.

The Boathouse London is a boutique hotel and event space moored on the scenic waters of the Floating Pocket Park in West London. Launched in partnership with interior design brand MADE.COM, this industrial style barge enjoys contemporary Scandinavian decor and a modern space to create a memorable experience

As this is an outdoor event we will be hoping for a dry day and sunshine, in the event of their being heavy rain we may consider rescheduling or moving the brunch indoors. 
 
Yoga Mats and props are provided, please arrive changed and ready for the class.
